events are cancelled until the end of June or postponed to a later date.


July 12, 2020

HSM Children's Day



For the fourth time, the HSM organizes a day with many special events for
young visitors. We offer a bouncy castle, children's roundabout, children's jewels
and much more. Children up to 15 years of age have free admission.


July 24-26, 2020

SNNTG - The Festival



For the 3rd time the 'SNNTG - The Festival' event takes place on the grounds
of the Hanover Tram Museum. On four stages, an electrifying mixture of music, art
and culture will be presented. More information about the event: https://snntg.de

Attention: Due to this event, the museum is closed for visitors on July 26, 2020.


August 9, 2020

25th Vintage Vehicles Gathering



Old cars and motor-bikes of many different brands are welcome to visit the museum.
Drivers and co-driver have free admission.


September 5 & 6, 2020

Model Railway Exhibition



Visit our unique detailed scratch-built model trams in the voluminous G-size (1:22,5 scale).
On a 210 sqm track module arrangement with a track length of about 160 metres you can
see model trams from Hannover, Bielefeld, Wuppertal, Erfurt, Leipzig, Duisburg and Berlin
in action.


September 13, 2020

Discoverer’s Day of Hannover Region



Once a year, the Hannover Region invites all inhabitants and visitors to explore and visit
up to 40 different places of interest. The Hanover Tram Museum is one the places and will
present at 2pm a variety of trams at a tram parade.


October 31, 2020

Autumn atmosphere in the Tramway Museum



Special opening times: 11am to 7pm. Illuminated tram ride in the dawn. At about
5.30 pm lantern procession for the little ones. Children who bring along a lantern
will get free admission. We offer hot spiced wine, waffles and bratwurst in addition
to our 'standard menu'.


December 6, 2020

St. Nicholas' Day at the Tramway Museum



St. Nicholas is visiting the museum and will be giving out small presents to the children.
